This kind of weekend volleyball tournaments are ideal for those recreational volleyball groups out there who wants to get a chance to compete and meet with other fellow volleyball groups. And since there are cash prizes, this can be a means to generate funds as well. The only problem I see is the fact that it’s literally “open” to any teams and/or players regardless of level of play. So expect a few hard-core volleyball teams who play for money to join.
