To kick-off the hottest summer event this year, Nestea Fit is inviting you to experience our sports and lifestyle program designed to get you hot. Camp Hot is a 6-Saturday course composed of a series of sports clinics and activities facilitated by the country’s top athletes and professionals. The goal is to encourage everyone to get hot by staying active and drinking Nestea Fit with L-Carnitine everyday.

You are invited to the kick-off on February 13 to preview the actual event that will start on February 20 at the Fort Open Grounds. Bring as many friends as you can!

I got this Nestea Fit invite and what caught my attention is BEACH VOLLEYBALL!! As you can see from the official Nestea Fit Camp Hot poster below, they are going to offer 8 hot courses or sports. And one of those is going to be beach volleyball. So I said to myself, what? Beach volleyball at Bonifacio Histreet… Where? How? Are there going to be guest athletes to conduct the courses? Hmmm.. this will be very interesting.

So I asked the organizers what exactly will be happening but I just got a generic answer. I guess I’ll just have to pass by the event this Saturday to check it out. Then maybe go straight to The Arena afterwards and watch the ADMU vs. ADU (UAAP Women’s Volleyball) match at 4pm. Then go play volleyball with the VGD group at the Blue Eagle gym at 630pm

Other than beach volleyball, I have always been wanting to try out the sport of ultimate frisbee. In fact, I bought a frisbee at Toby’s a long time ago but never had a chance to actually use it (‘coz even my dog does not wanna play frisbee with me). I somehow stumbled upon this blog post on the net that’s apparently related to this Nestea Fit Camp Hot event:

Ummm… so does this mean that there will also be a sort of tournament for beach volleyball and the winning team will go to Boracay for free? This makes Nestea Fit Camp Hot even more exciting then! But then again, we’ll find out for sure what this is all about on Saturday. I think this is open to all. So If you’re planning to join the fun, make sure you come in sports attire!

Francis (who is actually just 24 — I learned about this after reading a feature article on this month’s Entrepreneur issue), is doing another online contest for bloggers to promote the spa. MY ANSWER: I would definitely be thrilled to experience their new deep tissue massage called the Athlete’s Massage (Php850). This has been specially developed by Blue Water Day Spa to cater to active sports-oriented men and women. I heard this was conceptualized in collaboration with PBA basketball coach Alfancis Chua (of Sta. Lucia). To quote from the Entrepreneur feature article: “[Athelet's Massage] focuses on the pressure points that are important to any sportsman, stretching the body to get the athlete ready for the next game or practice”.

Just recently, I’ve just started playing badminton with fellow blogger-friends every Tuesdays 9-11pm at West Drive Badminton Center in Brgy. Kapitolyo, Pasig. And guess what, Blue Water Day Spa Capitol Hills is just around the corner. I would love to drop by Blue Water Day Spa one time before going to my weekly badminton gig.
