To fit the P30M budget for the upcoming SEA Games 2011 in Indonesia this November 11-25, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) had to trim down the delegation for Team Philippines. SEA Games co-deputy Julian Camacho confirmed major cuts have been made in team sports like volleyball, baseball, and futsal.
Due to the win-less performance of our Philippine Women’s Volleyball Team in the recently concluded 12th Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship where they placed last at 8th overall, the POC had to cut off the team from participating in the SEA Games 2011.
As for the RP Men’s Volleyball Team, although there seems to be no confirmation yet, they are preparing for the SEA Games already.
Team Lady Troopers team captain, Rachel Ann Daquis and the rest of her teammates are currently participating in the PVF National Open 2011 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium (10am onwards, admission is free!) from October 3-9.

Hi. I just wanna ask if Mens’Volleyball at 2011 sea games won any medal?
How about at the beach volleyball (men and women) at the recent 2011 sea games?
Thanks!
