As many of you already know, the second conference of Shakey’s V-League Season 5 is scheduled to start on October 19, 2008 at The Arena, San Juan City. There will be a total of 8 participating teams. (And yes, it’s confirmed that UST and La Salle are back.)
Here’s an excerpt from the Shakey’s V-League Rules and Regulations:
C: TEAM COMPOSITION:
A team shall consist of fourteen (14) players; provided that only twelve (12) can be used in any game. Twelve (12) of these 14 players shall consist of those players who were or are in the line-up of the team for the current season of their school leagues (i.e., the UAAP, NCAA or WNCAA).
One of these 14 players must be a team alumna who played in the Shakey’s V League. Except for the College of St. Benilde, the team alumna should have played in the NCAA. The other one (1) of these 14 players shall be a guest player.
So each team will be having a total of 2 guest / extra players: 1 “veteran” alumna, and 1 “sky is the limit” guest player. I’m sure all of us are eager to know who these “extra” players will be for the respective teams. You can read Ritche’s blog post about these guest players over here.

hi..i just want to ask when will the shakey’s v-league post the videos for the second conference..i havn’t watched it yet..i hope to watch all those previous games especially the great come back of De lasalle and UST games..they are the awesome team to beat…thanks…hope to watch it soon.
