5. Which player poses the biggest threat?

Tomie: Michael Reyes is the biggest threat. He is very strong not only in terms of offense but in defense as well. Since first year, he has consistently proved us that he really is the MVP. Having him as their captain, UE will surely be the most challenging team we’ll encounter in this season.

Gelo: Basing on last year’s performance, Michael Reyes of UE is still one of the biggest threats in the league. He delivers powerful spikes which are really difficult to deflect or control without good defense. This is why we focused on these more in lieu of the upcoming UAAP.

JP: For me, Michael Reyes of UE is the biggest threat. There’s no doubt about it, he’s the best.

Neil: Michael Reyes, the open spiker of UE is the biggest threat to our team.

6. What do you think about NU?

Tomie: I am happy that they are joining because it would be a great exposure for us to compete with a new and fresh team.

Gelo: Because we haven’t seen NU play, they also become a threat; though it is enlightening to know that a new team has come to show us what their game. The teams have been the same since I was first year and it is fun to have a new addition. Though, we shouldn’t be complacent because what we don’t know yet may shock us.

JP: Actually, I was surprised when I heard of this. I didn’t really expect them to have a h.s. volleyball team. I guess their team will add more excitement in the upcoming UAAP season.

Neil: I was surprised when I heard the National University is going to join the upcoming UAAP season. I never knew that they had a high school volleyball team. I really don’t know what to expect that is why the only thing our team can do is prepare for the Bullpups.

7. What can you say about Charo being the new assistant coach?

Tomie: Honestly, I feel very inspired having her as our asst. coach. Her angelic face, her lovely voice, and her sexy figure really stir me to train even harder.

Gelo: Coach Cha has been great. She’s been handling the new recruits smoothly. She’s also been very supportive. It’s great to have a new member of the team, too. She’s always jolly towards us.

JP: At first, I was surprised but also happy in a way. I never thought that she’ll be spending some of her time teaching and sharing us her talents in terms of playing volleyball.

Neil: We are really fortunate to have the Ateneo’s most popular and talented volleyball player on our team. Charo Soriano has been a very valuable factor in the formation of our team. She has been very friendly and approachable that is why we never had a hard time asking assistance from her. She has also helped us in the recruitment program for the AHSVT since the majority of the team will be graduating this year. With her long time experience and exposure, we know that we will learn a lot from the “goddess” of volleyball. HAHAHA!
