3. What are the chances of the team winning the crown or how do you think you guys will fare this season?

Tomie:: I believe that we have a great chance of winning this season. Since there were only a few who graduated from our team, majority of the last year’s team are still in the team. We have an advantage over other teams such as UST, La Salle Zobel, and UP who are only left with their new players. However, I could say that victory isn’t still in sight because UE, the defending champions, still have the COMPLETE FIRST SIX of their last year’s team with them. No one graduated in their team and they’re only getting stronger.

Gelo: Of course being optimistic is something a team should be. We should always think that we have a chance of winning the crown this season. Since this would be the last year for all of us lined-up for this season, we aspire to win the crown as a great achievement before we graduate.

JP: Based on our team’s potentials, I guess we have good chance of winning against the other teams. I believe that our team will be tougher this season. I don’t know if we can win the crown, but I can say that we will fight and give our very best to snatch it.

Neil: I think that we really have a good chance of winning the crown this year. Our team is still intact that is why team work would help us in winning the crown. We have a strong line up this year that is why we will really do our best to win the crown.

4. What team/s are threat/s?

Tomie: UE has always been the team to beat. For three straight years, they have been the champions. I think that we will have a hard time in playing against them. But who knows, it’s anybody’s game. Hehe.

Gelo: Every team could be a threat. There was a 5 month grace-period between last year’s UAAP and this year, meaning anything could happen to a team. Improvement of the teams in the UAAP Jrs. Volleyball is of different pace. But honestly, UE is still a threat, obviously because they’re the defending champions.

JP: In my opinion, UE is the only team which still remains to be a threat for our goal this season. I heard that the core of their team will still be playing, so I believe they’re a strong team compared to last season.

Neil: Personally, I think the greatest threat this year is the University of the East. Most of the other teams have been depleted because of players that graduated. The UE team is still intact with Michal Reyes on their side. I think that they would be the toughest team to compete with but I believe that with team work and coordination, we could match up with the said team.
