I am not an avid fan of volleyball not after i’ve married my husband. He is so into sports aside from basketball, it is volleyball which He is into… and so, when we watch television He usually watch volleyball and as a wondering wife, I just sat down beside Him and try to watch this volleyball thing… the first time I’ve watched a volleyball play which was the Ateneo-Adamson semifinal game… right then and there watching Charo Soriano’s game I fell in love with volleyball, what I like about her the most is when she continued playing even limping for a while due to a bad fall- she played with passion. (wow! I am cheering for her with my husband of course cause I was asking all the time what is Charo doing) even though, that time I really didn’t know the game rules.
What happened after that game is that I am into volleyball (playing right now - just in our baranggay events) and our team uniform and color is blue because of Charo and not only that I am into sports which is good for my health.

nung 4th shakey’s vleague(2nd conference) lang kita na-notice, but you really made a mark saken.kase yun yung nag-spike ka ng malakas, ang galing nun.!and i can still remember that spike.=D

Wow exciting contest! I admit I am a die-hard fan of Ms. Charo Soriano. SA totoo lang po lagi ako napunta sa mga may accel outlets sa mall at nagbabakasakaling baka meron akong mabibiling Jersey nya. I really love to win the jersey of Ms. Charo parang its a dream come true pag nangyari un. Great and wonderful souvenir from my IDOL. I like MS. Charo first,because of her great enthusiasm. Laging buo ang loob harapin lahat ng laban nila and always doing her best para sa Team niya.2nd,She a Smart player, u will see that she knows what her doing inside the court, she always find ways on how will her Team gets a point from their opponents.A Finest BLOCKER and Brilliant SPIKER. and LAstly why i really idolize her is because of her ATTITUDE. VEry humble person (i never saw her acting like a BIG STAR inside the court even if shes one of the most popular players) Shes just play hard and do her part as a CAptain ball. I wanted to win a Charo Soriano jersey for simple reason that I can’t be her. I can’t be just that oh, so almost perfect player like a Charo Soriano no matter how I tried ( I tried grunting like she did, and I miserably failed). hmm… alam niyo ba? last friday, kumuha ako ng form fo ACET… and guess what? I saw ate charo practicing at the blue eagles gym… she is indeed ery beautiful and tall… and not just her, i also saw ate karla, ate kara, ate misha, ate fille, ate stephanie, ate averil, and even couch mic… it was really a great experience… sayang nga lang wala si ate patty…

but she is a very talented volleyball player.without her in the ateneo squad,MAY BE ateneo cannot win even a single game.Charo carries her team on her back, with charo on ateneo, they can compete and give a great fight to other teams. Charo’s one of the best not only in scoring but she is also doing everything that can be done for the good of her team.The most important player in the ateneo team. A very devoted player that will be remembered as the best or one of the best who played the game of volleyball. A team with charo is a team to beat.

Winning of jersey of Ms. Charo is such a marvelous gift. I idolize her simply because of her magnificent talent. She’s so amazing! Many of players are also good in playing volleyball, many of them are as great as Ms. Charo, and maybe some of them are much better than her. However, when you see Ms. Charo playing inside the court you will see her eagerness to play not only to impress the audience but also to make positive outcome for her team in every game. A very good Team Captain, she can handle her teammates very well. Has a brilliant Attitude, humble and down to earth person. I guess when God showered a talent on playing Volleyball she is one of the luckiest people who seize the Heavens gift.

Well, I guess I should have her jersey because I’ve always been longing to see her. I take her as my inspiration everytime we have a game. You see, I’m also a volleyball player. I’m actually not that good yet but I’m always wishing to be like her and maybe, one day, I’ll get to play in UAAP and in V-League. I once have decided to stop playing Volleyball since I thought I wasn’t enjoying it but once, I was surfing the channel, I saw her playing for ADMU and said to my self: “I’m so wrong. I shouldn’t give this up. I should continue since now, I’ve realized that I’m just starting to enjoy it and I know I’ll enjoy it more in every passing day that I play it. And thatnks to Charo Soriano, I’ve realized that this is my passion.” I”m twelve years old now and I’m planning to continue playing Volleyball. I’ve been playing for two years and I’m proud to say that I’ve quite improved and with my inspiration, I know I will.

Here it goes, I guess I should have her jersey not only because she’s my idol but she’s also my inspration. I think well actually, I know, that I will not be a player of Volleyball anymore if it wasn’t for Maria Rosario “Charo” Soriano. I love this game as much as how I love Charo as my one true idol. She gives me strenght everytime I play. Just thinking about her makes me feel so good. I’ve always tried to go to her games at this year’s V-league but I guess this isn’t the time. Our next league will soon start and we have to prepare for it. I’m trying my best. Seeing her will make my dreams come true and it would be an honour to also have her jersey.
