As volleyball becomes a fast growing sport in the Philippines, individual talents become more popular than ever. Despite the absence of some big names like Venus Bernal, Mary Jean Balse, and Rachel Anne Daquis, new talents emerge to take their place in the hearts of true fans. Here’s a list of the top teenage talents in volleyball today – players being under 20, and who have at least two or three years in the local spotlight. The future of volleyball is in good hands with these fine individuals.

- 10. Katty Kwan
V-league new comer College of Saint Benilde is relying heavily on young Katty Kwan for their offense. The V-league is a great avenue for her development, as NCAA volleyball also looks to improve its volleyball competition.
- 9. Shaira Gonzalez
With a slight controversy over her rookie of the year eligibility, Shaira started her freshman campaign with an even more prestigious prize: UAAP season 70 championship, to go along with the one she has in beach volleyball.
- 8. Stephanie Mercado
If you know your sports history, you know Steph has what it takes to be successful in athletics. Young, gifted and determined, she is one of the pillars of La Salle’s volleyball future.
- 7. Lizlee Ann Gata
The anchor of quite possibly the best floor defense in the country, Lizlee does her thing and helps keep Adamson in contention in every tournament they play in.
- 6. Jacky Alarca
Eligibility woes aside, she is a superb talent who would have won numerous awards had things not been what they were. A fearless frontline defender who has potential to be one of the best.
