Volleyball at the Beijing Olympics

Guys, I need your thoughts and opinions on who will be the final 4. Posted are my predictions and the country’s current FIVB world ranking as of January 2008.

Dante still plays for the Brazilian national team :)It just so happens it’s off-season, a lot of them are scattered around the world playing in various clubs. Dante is in Greece, while Giba is in Russia.

on women’s volleyball, i think china will still get the gold. rui rui zhao and feng kun are back for team china

china is always a strong team, i am sure they are going to fight tooth and nail to get the gold. specially that they are the host… nakapagwarm-up na sila nung asian games… hehe

yah…i…agreeeeeee!!!..im..a..die..hard..fan..of..the..chinese..volleyball..team..i..love..hao..yang..suhong..zhou..and..khun..feng

My Bet for the women’s volleyball matches:
For Gold: Russia VS China
For Bronze: Cuba VS Netherlands

I will still entrust confidence with Sokolova, Gamova and Merkulova. Sabi ko nga sa dati kong comments. They are like the equivalent of UST Tigresses in the local scene. They are the big towers of volleyball. Supreme ang kanilang blocks and of course no doubt ang kanilang offense.

My fearless forecast if for China to occupy the silver position: Feng, Wang and the rest of the gang will be defeated by the Russians.

Cuba will regain their composure of the game. Still maintaining their 6-2 popular position and bathing suit costume. (hahahahahha!) They will defeat the rising Netherlands.

Italy and Brazil will be resting at the top 6. I believe. Aguero’s transfer in Italy as Utility I think will need more “gelling”. Brazil on the other hand, with Paula and the rest of the gang. Shall sit their.

That’s my fearless forecast. Hehehhehe. What you think!

Netherlands and Germany blew their chance in the European Olympic Qualification tourney, so that’s it for them.

Cuba hasn’t worn their bathing suits in 5 years. Even at the Athens Olympics, they were wearing the standard uniforms, albeit with much shorter bottoms (super p*kp*k shorts, so to speak hahaha)

ngapala… gusto ko na magkaroon ng ultimate upset, malay nyo japanang mag-gold… hehe

ive seen some shots of DANTE AMARAL of Brazil sa youtube. Grabe sya kung pumalo….walang patawad sa bola at blockers….i think brazil will steal the GOLD for 2008 olympics.

i think its russia vs china in the finals, brazil and cuba will play for the third and fourth position… but am still hoping for korea and japan to get into the top four teams… i mean these teams made alot of adjustments and improvements for them to be able to play in the olympics(am pertaining to the olympics), i can still remember how japan played here in the philippines and their libero was awarded as the best libero…

lapit na omlympics….ganda….hehehe
