V-League Fever (part 2)
(NOTE: The following info are mostly just assumptions and/or rumors from very reliable sources. You should read V-League Fever Part 1 first.)
- Adamson University has dropped the idea of getting Suzanne Roces and will most likely stick to Nerissa Bautista as guest player.
- Meanwhile, De La Salle University withdrew from the league and will miss action this coming conference after losing Celine Hernandez, Carla Marie Llaguno and Michelle Paulin Datuin to graduation and not having the opportunity to let Manilla Santos, Charleen Cruz and Relea Ferina Saet this coming conference because of the new rules of the league.
- Ateneo de Manila University is the only team sure of getting a Thai player.
- Jaroensri Bualee has stated a sudden announcement that she will not be able to play because of previous commitment. San Sebastian College - Recoletos is acquiring the services of Sanorseang Areerat and Suphap Phongthong as Guest Players. If things don’t cooperate, they will get a local guest player.
- Lyceum of the Philippines University, is still choosing a setter that will suit them but like in the past conferences, Christina Salak is the top player in their list.
- College of Saint Benilde is likewise rumored to have a Japanese Import. There’s no information yet on what’s the name of the Guest Player.
- The UAAP Champions Far Eastern University still hasn’t confirmed yet if they will choose either Danielle Michiko Castaneda, Michelle Carolino or Sanorseang Areerat as guest player.
- The two Visayan teams still hasn’t acquired a guest player yet.
- So far, UP’s Danielle Michiko Castaneda has been attracting a lot of teams, even the two Visayan teams want her.

I thought Venus Bernal was injured and will attend more on her studies. Anyway it’s not confirmed yet.

baka naman kaya ni bernal maglaro kaso di lang siya pinayagan ng ust.
Sana may import na katulad noong sa ateneo noon. Intuan ata name nun eh. Yung nainjured. It makes the league interesting if there are imports na hmm… yung appealing sa crowd.
Maging colorful sana yung upcoming league.
Yung UP sana makapasok. I love watching them. My charisma din sila eh. Kailangan lang nila ng reinforcement to be more competitive.
Baka maging ‘girls just having fun’ talaga sila.

Yehey! More experience for her… She’s good, ang lakas pumalo, kaso talgang raw pa kung titignan.
Kawawa naman si Bautista kung bigla na lang bibitawan ng AdU.
Sana si Carolino na lang kunin ng FEU.
Now that it is (quite) sure that UST will not be playing, will there be another team to replace them, like Letran or UP?! Yes! Hopeful pa rin akong makita ang UP this conference…

Ganoon din ang case ni Rachelle Daquis.
She has a following pero ngayon pa lang nadedevelop yung magandang character ng FEU.
Narinig ko sa replay kanina. They are being put in a quarters daw together. Magandang magteambuilding nga sila.
Kasi if she graduate and then be invited to be the guest player of UST. She will be more connected with the UST family. Just like what happened with roces. Almost pareho ang personality ni Daquis with most of the tigresses.
Yun lang ang kaibahan ng UST maglaro as a team.
A demeanor which is full of charisma, enjoyable to watch, just like girls who are having fun.
One difference that they have in trash talking. They make it more better and and still look like ladies.
BTW may nakita pala akong ibang team na ganiyan din pala ang character. ‘UP’

I am refering to the FEU.
Pinagsasama-sama na yung ladies ng FEU to build their camaraderie even stronger.
Yun yung missing element kasi sa ibang team.
For sure roces have her friends at UE. Pero she became more connected with the UST girls.
We all know that the personality of daquis is the same with the other girls of UST. Baka maging mas at home pa siya with the UST in the future, kung sakaling mangyari yun. Kung sakali lang naman.
Kaya magandang mag-teambuilding talaga ang FEU and other teams.

one guest player is good for me and i hope FEU will get michelle carolino to play with them… michelle did good in season 68 wherein they won against UST, they beated UST that time in two straight games in the finals…love her also alot hehehe….

yeah i think she’s good but the prob is, kailangan ng FEU ng players na mas matangkad for blocking purposes so i’d rather have areerat or castaneda as their guest player.
I think the Lady Tams has the ability to block, they maybe short but they can leap high and carolino as well…
I dont think also that FEU will ever need the help of an import, our local talent can fill empty positions of FEU, if theres any…
si michelle nasa season 68? guest player lang sya ng lasalle sa v-league. she’s from letran. i don’t think naglaro sya sa UAAP.
i’d also go for areerat or castaneda, but what the heck, with or without carolino, castaneda or areerat FEU can play well.
yes FEU can play well, its a given. but they can always play better. tingnan niyo naman nangyari sa kanila sa last v-league conference. other teams become stronger because they are able to get good guest players. eh ang guest player ng FEU walang kwenta. she was a non-factor. Daquis, Semana and Morada were even better than her. Kaya nga kumukuha ng guest player to level-up the games. Kung sila-sila lang din eh di parang UAAP extension lang yun.
And bakit ba napaka big deal kung kukuha ng import. If an import would be the one to make the team a better one eh di go. get an import!
napansin ko nga rin parang walang naitulong si manalo sa FEU nung sa v-league. Manalo was the go-to player of FEU during her times. and they were really good during season 69. same team lang din yung lumaban sa v-league pero nangulelat sila. bat kaya pag sa v-league nangungulelat ang FEU? nde ko rin maintindihan. nde lang naman din sa guest player ang dahilan nun e. ang dlsu actually nde na ganun kalakas tulad ng dati pero nalamangan pa nila FEU. sana mawala na ang sumpa. hehehe.
am not against the import, ang sakin lang eh mas maganda kung same set of players lang din, like sa FEU, they didnt need to have adjustments after the vleague for uaap kasi ready and prepared na yung mga players. and its one way of giving them good training, di ko kasi nakikita na kung may import sa team niyo gagaling na kayo, mas lalo lang kayong mahihirapan kasi nakadepend kayo sa import na yun especially if that import is magaling, at sa uaap nakita natin yun, may team na hindi nag ecel dahil ganun nga ang nangyari…i hope am not the only one who have seen that difference…
manalo is a former player of FEU and one of the reason why FEu made it to the finals last year and finishing the two rounds with no loss. tinamaan lang ng malas sa finals wherein UST snatched the championship from them. She rested for a year, siguro that was the reason why she didnt played well in the vleague. pero shes on the good players FEU ever had.
magaling naman talaga ang DLSU, actually DLSU dominated season 68 and 67 with FEU as its arch rival in womens volleyball. humina lang when some of their players graduated and finished their uaap playing years…wala sila nung season 69 at minalas sa season 70. and now that manila santos and che saet are back i know they will once again dominate the league plus alarca with them, wow what a powerhouse team…hehehe but i hope FEU will do good in the league…
sa guest players, maganda na yung ginawa nila noon. it’s either you get a foreign player or 2 local players as guests.

Walang Castañeda kahit saang team.
Baulee will be playing for Ateneo.
Intuan will play for LaSalle! WHOAH!
SSC will have Phongthong.
CONCON Legazpi will play for Lyceum. YEY!
Carolino will play for FEU.
Neither Bautista nor Roces will play for AdU; DAVE will play for them.
And Roces will play for SanJose Recoletos.
Still, this is not yet confirmed… ahoooo….

carolino is more on the offensive. i don’t think feu needs more offense. ang lalakas na ng mga palo nila. aside from that, open hitter si carolino eh. Dalawa na open hitter ng FEU, daquis and gonzales and they’re doing good. mas kailangan nila ng middle player since aside from morada, wala ng ibang magaling. cafranca has always been inconsistent. so i think mas maganda kung si areerat or castaneda ang kukunin nila.

ABANTO p saka SEMANA,open hitter din..powerhouse talaga kaya sobra paghanga kosa team nila at sa recruiting at training powers ni coach PAMILIAR,nagaadjust naman si semana for middle hits eh kaya isa pang open hitter,ung palong kayang tumibag ng blocks tulad ng mga palo ni kirarang SEGODINE,hehehe,at least cinompliment ko siya halfway,hehehe
sabagay maganda rin kung si carolino! more power hits for feu! tipong baon talaga at nakakademoralize. hahaha. i was suggesting areerat and castaneda for the blocks as well. pero considering the floor defense FEU has shown in the recent UAAP, i think kahit minimal blocking kayang kaya nila manalo sa game.

di naman sana. bigyan natin ng chance na makalaro ang ibang teams. sad din ako nang malaman ko ang news na d sila sasali sa v-league ang UST at ang DLSU. pero napag-isip-isipan ko na para sa ikagaganda ng volleyball satin, suportahan na lang natin ang v-league kahit na di na nga masyadong exciting and thrilling ang mga laro without the two teams. pero sana mali din ang akala ko. baka nga sa pagkawala ng teams na to, mas dikdik ang laban at ang mga laro ng mga teams ay mas masaya at exciting. Please support volleyball in our country.
