SHOCKER!!! ROQUE MVP!!!in the last game,he didnt even had playing time because of his attack errors,it was bading TORRES and PECANA who played well,they should been the one awarded mvp,that news made my feeling of defeat even worse.. i’m really sad,sleep is what i need right now.ahuhuhuhuhu
yeah, all you need rightnow is a decent and peaceful sleep for you to regain your strength, voice, guts and wit! anyway, i really agree to what you pointed out on your post, i mean although the FEU tamaraws had played well and exerted such effort for them to defend their title, obviously that wouldn’t be enough since the UST Tigers really worked hard not only on their offense, but most probably on their defense as well. how many times edjet mabbayad’s powerful hits were rejected, and it served as one of the reasons why the offense of the FEU Tamaraws was controlled and manipulated by the blockers of UST. a big credit also for the powerful hits showcased by torres and pecana, that’s why i didn’t even expect/anticipate when they announced the name of roque as the recipient of the MVP Award! i thought it was torres or pecana who’ll get the said award, but as they always say… “reality bites!” so whether we like it or not, we are obliged to go on with the flow of the moment! what matters most anyway is the victory of the UST Tigers!(”,)!

hehe, nope. i had to leave after the women’s game na. ran out of battery and memory eh. basta i was wearing a light blue shirt like i said and was taking photos along the sides of the court. with a Nikon D40x and a borrowed zoom lens (mahaba), and a brown sling camera bag.

Grabeng intensity ng games yesterday. I’m really proud of you FEU volleyball players. Congrats to women’s team. It’s ok men’s team,bawi na lang next year. Adamson made a good fight but consistency made FEU WVT dominate in the 5th set. Sobra kasing mang asar si SEGODINE kaya ayun nakarma. To HIPONIA, too bad…last score binigay mo lang..SAYANG! I really admired SEMANA…my idol. Small but terrible. I also like LAGUILLES, beauty humble pa.

Whew, sobrang nakakakaba yung game. You can never tell who’s team is going to win until the final buzzer sounds ^_^ I’m just so happy that it’s the team that I’m rooting for that made it ^_^
Hands up to AdU Lady Falcons, they played their hearts out. Both teams proven that they can deliver a sterling UAAP Finals even some people are claiming that they won’t match the intensity and the crowd of a would-be “UST versus FEU/AdU Finalsâ€. San Juan Arena was overflowing with people and emotions yesterday. IF that is not “intense”, I don’t know what else to call it ^_^

it started on february 28, 2008, i was logged in spikeithard.com and saw the comments section below the articles. sabi ko sa sarili ko pupunta talaga ako… kaya lang wala naman ako makasama so nagtry ako kung my gustong pumunta.. at ayun na nga, nameet ko na sila aya, chrisanne at slytherinz, naging instant virtual volleyball pals kaming apat (na btw, testosterone challenged individuals kaming lahat.. hehe). salamat sa spikeithard.com at nakapanood ako ng game 3 ng uaap volleyball finals…
march 2 came… nakitakita kaming apat sa robinsons galleria, bought some food to share, then we headed to the arena in san juan… the women’s game started. the venue was filled by volleyball fanatics. lahat sumisigaw, lahat excited sa games. napakafestive ng mood. the first game lasted five sets with the feu ladies getting the title. i can say that both the teams deserved to be tha champions but only one should be, and that happens to be feu, pero ok lang, i was able to see sang laguilles, my favorite player, always nakasmile, angelic face (nyeta, nagiging lalake n yata ako.. hehe lols!) hands down to you girl!…
the men’s game… ito talaga ang pinunta ko d2. since last year pa, i got hooked with the feu men’s team. kahit hindi ako taga-uaap school, i got hooked with them.. they exude confidence, vibrance and courage. wala naman talaga akong masasabi kc magaling talaga sila. ang sabi ko sa sarili ko dati, manonood ako ng game ng team na to. at kahapon natupad yun.. i was there… i was there… hindi ako makapaniwala pero totoo. andun ako… my heart pumps with every spike… i was praying and enjoying at the same time.. at higit sa lahat, masaya ako kasi nakita ko ang team na paborito ko. iba pa rin pala kapag nakita mo sila ng personal. yung nakikita mo kung paano sila magserve, magspike, magblock, at kung paano sila magdive sa floor just to save the ball… nung fifth set, magkadikit na yung mga palad ko in front of my nose, uttering my prayer for them to win the crown.. pero in the end, uste got the much coveted title…
natalo sila… they looked stunned, the feu crowd was stunned, including me… we were in the second row on the lower box behind feu’s bench that time kaya kitang kita ko sila… jessie gathered his teammates that time, then he talked to them.. hindi ko naririnig yung mga sinasabi nya pero nafefeel ko na he wants to lift their spirits despite their loss, jessie is a true sportsman… they sang the feu theme, still with conviction.. then they headed to their quaters.. nakita ko na may nagpa-authograph pa kay penaranda, i was so touched na pinagbigyan nya yung tao na yun, inilapag pa nya yung papel sa court at umupo sya sa sahig to write his name on that piece of paper, my cheers for penaranda for entertaining that fan..same for dela cruz who still talked to some people before proceeding to the dug out hands down… tapos na yung game, patapos na din yung araw.. umuwi na kami, nagkanya-kanya na nang byahe…
pag-uwi ko sa bahay, nakatext ko pa din yung ibang tao sa spike it hard, especially yung mga ksama kong cla chrisanne at slytherinz, c aya kc bka nasa byahe pa. katxt ko din cla nicanorian at i bleed green and gold, mga tao din from spikeithard.com… pinagusapan namin yung game, kung ano ba yung mga nangyari… nagreflect ako, then my tears fell (ang drama noh? pero totoo.. hehe).. i feel for the team… pero honestly, i want to thank them for giving us good games, good laughs, and showing what real power is all about… my repect still goes to you guys.. you are the champion in our hearts…
pero wala namang mali sa pagkatalo… hindi mali ang matalo.. kung manalo ka, ok, pero kung hindi naman, ok lang din…yun ang essence ng sports… you win some, you loose some… ang mahalaga ibinigay nila ang lahat for their school, and for us fans.. hindi nila gustong mabigo ang mga sumusuporta sa kanila… it just so happen na hindi nangyari ang gusto nating mangyari…
finally, i just want to thank spikeithard.com… dahil sa website na to, nameet ko yung tatlo kong nakasamang manood, namely aya, slytherinz, and chrisanne… salamat sa inyong tatlo, i really enjoyed our moments together sa arena kahapon (kahit iba iba tayo ng team.. hehe).. pati kay kuya spikey na moderator, thanks for acknowledging us during the games, sadness lang kasi hindi tayo nagkasamasama ng mas matagal at malayo pa ang pwesto mo.. hehe… kita kita tayo uli sa v-league…

LOLS! let’s give credit also to my idol (hanry james pecana) for his great performance yesterday! although i was the only one among us who cheered for the UST Tigers, i felt also sad about FEU Tamaraws’ loss because it would mean a lot to lopez and mabbayad since that would be their last playing game in UAAP! they really tried as much as possible to bring the glory to their team, yet their efforts and determination weren’t enough…, lastly, i really had fun watching torres because of her grace, poise, wit, passion and power towards the game! he just proved how powerful and reliable player he was…Go GIRL! and i think i’m already inlove with hanry james pecana…(”,)!

The fog of volleyball wars has cleared. One question remains: why Jessie, why? (haha emote natalo ang FEU mens!). Bwiset, natalo parehong bet ko: Adamson Womens and FEU mens.
Some unforgetable moments:
1. Hangkyut ni Segodine when she made that dilat move (I guess she was mocking Morada).
2. I like liked nung winalis ni Morada yung Adamson court. Haha.
3. Heartwarming din yung pag hug nung Adamson and FEU players after the game.
4. When Rachel hugged Charo Soriano. (I think Charo was documenting Season 70 Volleyball, her last season in the UAAP so feeling ko isasama niya pati yung finals kaya andun siya. hehe and to campaign na rin for the upcoming V-league para dumami pa fans ng Ateneo).
5. Wendy bagging the MVP plum. Sweet.
Sayang na-cut yung sa Men’s. For me, lahat ng moments ni Jessie at Jeff ay memorable. hahaha
if you were just in arena, you would surely witness the moment when jessie lopez gathered his team mates and gave some words of wisdom, probably because he wanted to console and uplift his whipped team mates…(”,)!

sa pagkakaalam k, bawal ata mga bading sa RP team. so, di pwede si torres. one reason is, iba daw kasi treatment pag bading. that’s according to one RP team member whom i know… last 2006 k nalaman un and i don’t if there was a change or a modification in the rules.
