DLSU played it well against ADMU. To give credits in distributing the attack points, it is because of Martinez. She provided variety of sets giving ADMU a hard time blocking and digging the ball.

ADMU played fine. But DLSU’s game is better. Soriano was a solid key player in the team. Without her probably they wouldn’t have a chance to catch up.

UST is playing a little low right now. I guess their loss to FEU twice in 3 straight sets gave confidence to other teams that they can beat UST the way FEU did. And that’s really scary. Look at how UP trying to match up to UST’s game. They almost took a set.

If their esteem will still be like this, I wouldn’t doubt if DLSU beats the next match.

i hope ust occupies the top slot (they should first beat adu), in that way, feu can force a rubber match against adu (the latter having the twice to beat incentive), and avenge their two-match loss against adamson. of course, being an feu fan that i am, i hope daquis and the lady tams will prevail! hehehe i still hope though for a ust-feu showdown in the finals (the energy and rush just feels so different when these two teams compete).

regarding daquis, she has often been a topic for hot debates as i have read in these posts. admittedly, she is not as versatile unlike some players (say, bernal)but that is because of her different approach. still, she has her way of churning out those points, and yes, esp. during tight matches, she will ALMOST always be the one to deliver. arguably one of the more popular players in the league (if not the most popular), rachel has proven that beauty & skills are indeed a lethal combination. with already a commercial under her belt, i’ve also read on the inquirer today that she is one of the endorsers for nike’s latest campaign which features sports-minded women. kudos and prove your critics wrong ms. daquis!

Adu defeated FEU twice, FEU defeated UST twice, if UST will defeat Adu on Sunday then that would be the 2nd time. If that happens then its clear that t is very unclear if who will win the championships.

If UST wins over ADU, a triple tie in the standings will happen, then point system or the win over the other will apply. But I think, ADU will try their very best to avoid such kind of complications since they are playing good team work and show high spirits and morale in every game. For FEU, they have to win over DLSU and ADMU to secure a good position in the standings with the possibility of a twice to beat incentive. However, they should not take light DLSU & ADMU, because these teams could pull a win anytime they want to. FEU should continue the kind of game they had demonstrated in their previous games. UST will make extra efforts to win their succeeding games to land good in the team standings. Even if ADU will get its second loss to UST, by point system or by set quotient, they will still have the top position, and if in case UST will win against ADU, UST will play against FEU for a tie breaker, that is, if both FEU and UST will manage to win its 3 remaining games, having 12-2 with UST.Otherwise, UST will be immediately pulled down to the third position. On the otherhand, ADMU and LA SALLE will most probably experience the same situation for a play off and win the fourth spot, if ADMU cant win its game against FEU and LA SALLE cant win its games also against FEU and UST.

there is a big possibility that UST will not be able to secure atleast 3rd position after season 70 and even no special awards for its players. i know ADU will get its pride back and play hard on its last game against UST. Pag natalo sila ng ADU masisira ang concentration nila and will lose the third place against La Salle. and we all know na ang UST ay walang number 1 player sa lahat ng SPECIAL AWARDS CATEGORY. They might end up losing evrything in womens volleyball this season. La Salle on the other hand have a big shot for the championship, if they can beat adamson twice and go up against FEU.

I hope i can still see FEU and UST in the finals, i know that this is super impossible for now,because the last possible meet up for these two powerhouses is the play offs, and one of them will go up against the number one team… ADU really stepped up this season and really did well in the past games and i can see that they really wanted the championship crown but FEU wanted this also, FEU wanted to get this crown from UST because the latter was able to snatched it from them last year…and we have to accept it,,, it would be alot happier and better if these two powerhouses will meet up again for the championship crown..

well, lets see. its not an “I” game its an “US”.. DLSU players are really coordinated… Very evident on their play against ADMU, if the receives are not good, the attackers adjust.. If the second ball goes to a player besides the setter, they set the ball.. Diba.. I mean with just her second playing year, JAck Alarca is a contender for MVP, a top blocker and a top server.. I imagine her next season so as with their other players… maybe next year the top contenders will be FEU, DLSU.. I doubt ADu kc Rizza jane will graduate so as with serafica.. as for UST, Bernal and Balse will graduate na..

My guess:
ADU, UST, and FEU will have a triple tie..but ADU will have the no.1 seat.. UST will Play against FEu(if FEU continues to show their power against UST, it will be ADu against (DLSU or ADMU) and UST against FEU…

I really wish and hope that ateneo will be in the final four this season before charo ends up his school yrs in ateneo and before her playing term expires.SHes been playing with this team for more or less 4 yrs. Charo contributed a lot not only in this team ateneo but also in the uaap womens volleyball as whole ,she is a big factor on why this game is alive and continue to shine this season, this sports is now being been recognize by most of the people, they are starting to watch in their tv homes, even see it live in ateneo gym, volleyball fanatic person started to cheer for their favorite team and players, so charo is one of those player who really helps this sports known and famous in this era now.Charo’s fans also get to noticed/appreciate her sportmanship inside the court, she is a very nice/smart person, she scores/plays relentlessly but yet remain to be a humble person,she also quote” that she want to give something in return/back to ateneo who taught and supported her in one way or another and in many things she accomplish right now. charo really is a model volleyball player right now and nice person to look into. i hope this girl will not stop playing volleyball because she had so many admirers and avid fans outthere who wants to see her playing volleyball inside the court . i also hope that Phil sports commission will create a proffesional volleyball team or philippine volleyball association where bussiness owners/proprietor can indorse their bussiness product and can able to sponsor a team like for example creating womens volleyball for purefoods team, alaska milk volleyball team, san miguel beer volleyball team, and talk and text phone pal volleyball team.This can be achieve and possible thru advetisement and aired product indorsement,where this college player can be given an opportunity to play after their playing terms in colleges and universities expires.
