I was watching the finals of the WNCAA women’s volleyball tournament and I just couldn’t help comparing that to the Shakey’s V-League.

It was like the difference between watching girls in the WNCAA versus watching women in the Shakey’s V-League.

The talent level difference is just so noticeable.

I agree with rodvill, couldn’t NBN do multiple replays of the games?

I was lucky enough to be able to watch the second replay of the ADMU-UST play-offs on Friday afternoon. It would be great if they can also show other replays on the weekends.

I also hope that NBN televises all the UAAP Women’s Volleyball games.

omg…kaasar talaga mga ust fans kahapon..it just shows sumthing..sometimes sumosobra na e..natawa ako dun sa banner na naksabi UST all pinoy aa yun..may nagsabi tuloy sa akin…dapat baste gumawa rin…BASTE all girls..hehe..tawa lang ako..pero sumosobra na nga talaga mga ust fans..minsan dahil sa kanila nasisira ang paningin ng iba sa mga ust players..sayang nman kung ganun..it showed there ohh so lack of sportsmanship..i hope the last game would be better …especially from the fans..CHEER DON”T JEER!

SSC’s Charisse Vernon Ancheta (Best Setter)
SSC’s Mary Jane Pepito (Best Receiver)

I was kinda hoping for Mary Jane Pepito to also get the Best Digger award, but Lizlee Ann Gata, the Libero of Adamson, is very good also. So no complaints there.

I am surprised though, that no UST player got an award.

Although I am rooting for SSC-R, I was kinda hoping that Denise Patricia Tan get the award for Best Setter. But to be fair to Acheta, she did a monster job this conference. Specially since she was replacing the legendary Iratay as setter for the SSC-R Lady Stags.

And that Maria Angeli Tabaquero had a shot at the award for Best Attacker.

Also, I thought that Venus Bernal made a strong case for MVP.

Anyway, congratulations to all the winners. You all highly deserve it.

Special congratulations to my crushie, super cutey Mary Jane Pepito. Hope you have a good game 3, sweetie.
