If you Google “Misty May”, the top result would be her official Flash website (www.mistymay.com). Misty May, partly famous because of her pigtails, played for California State University, Long Beach. She was one of the best female volleyball players in the US. She can do it all: set, attack, receive, and serve. In 1998, she received the Athlete of the Year Award. After dominating indoor volleyball, she moved to beach volleyball. Her website lists all her achievements as a professional volleyball player.

Just a few weeks ago, I happen to watch (in ESPN) a finals beach volleyball match between Dynamic Duo Misty May and Kerri Walsh against the Brazilians. They lost in three sets.
