I wasn’t able to watch the match between Ateneo Lady Eagles and San Sebastian Lady Stags at The Arena, San Juan last Tuesday. Ateneo lost in 4 sets: 23-25; 25-16; 25-18; 33-31. But all the Lady Eagles needed was to win a set to reach the Shakey’s V-League Season 4 Semi-Finals because of the tournament’s quotient system. Kudos to the Blue Eagle Spikers for having secured the 4th semis slot. The fourth set must have been a thriller. Their next game will be on June 17, Sunday.
On the other match, the UST Growling Tigresses beat the Lady Tamaraws: 25-10; 26-24; 25-19. FEU has been eliminated. What has happened to them? They were one of the top teams in the UAAP during my time. UST claimed the third semis slot.

@gc: Thanks for the correction! It’s already fixed. Initially kasi I got all my data from Wikipedia. But now, I have access to the V-League Bulletin so I have accurate data na.
Interestingly, the June 24 issue of The Inquirer (Sports) shows a photo of a La Salle player but the text shows “Kanchana Jindarat of La Salle” which we realized was wrong. This was kinda my fault, hehe.

i saw the reply of this game(AdMU vs SSC-R) last wednesday, august 8 sa viva prime channel.. nako! walang gustong bumitaw sa bola.. 1st set pa lang, umaapoy na ang mga players. sina Mic2 at jang parang nag-aasaran. pgdating ng 3rd set, lalong umapoy ang mga players. ang mga tao, walang boses sa ka che-cheer.. i want to see this game a million times, hehehe..
